Responsible AI Hackathon

Tackling unintentional bias in AI algorithms on online platforms

Introducing the Responsible AI Hackathon hosted by the DATA Initiative at Northeastern University and MathWorks. The hackathon will take place in the week of February 25th.

Artificial Intelligence is heavily used in online platforms like Twitter and Amazon for personalized recommendations, facial recognition, anti-counterfeit tools, and more. The data for this analysis can be skewed and introduce an unintentional bias. We want you to identify and illustrate how to tackle this bias.

There will be talks and workshops during hackathon week to bring everyone up to speed.
