Cambridge Science Centre and MathWorks: A Cross-Sector Partnership Going Ballistic
Andy Donnelly, Cambridge Science Centre
MathWorks and Cambridge Science Centre are collaborating to inspire 11-14-year-olds to get excited about science and maths. In the Go Ballistic workshop, children look at the flight and landing of simple projectiles to determine the best way to launch, and catch, a human cannonball. The workshop encourages an interest in maths through a fun and practical approach.
