Coder Summit: Optimizing Code Made Easy Using Embedded Coder
From the series: Coder Summit
In 2018a, Embedded Coder® introduces optimization levels that let you quickly select the code performance area to optimize for RAM, speed, or balanced.
Unlike previous approaches of setting dozens of individual coder settings, optimization levels make it easy to get the type of code you desire. Further, by using optimization levels, you can upgrade models to new releases and immediately benefit from the latest optimizations.
Optimization levels are just one approach to improving code efficiency. This talk also discusses recent advances in code reuse improvements including user specified reuse. Finally, the full breadth of optimization approaches are discussed and include target-aware optimizations.
This presentation is from Coder Summit Talks, which are live recordings of developers and engineers debuting their best MATLAB® and Simulink Coder™ optimizations and examples at an annual technical interchange.
