Student Competition: Code Generation Training, Customizing Generated Code with Simulink
From the series: Student Competition: Code Generation Training
Learn how to customize generated code from Simulink® models given common software design considerations such as debugging, readability, traceability, efficiency, and safety.
You will customize the way a user or external code can interface with the generated code. This includes controlling function prototypes, as well as the access and appearance of parameters, signals, and expressions in the code.
You will also modify settings in a model that can remove potentially unnecessary code. The effects of these optimizations on the efficiency and safety of the generated code will be discussed.
