Student Competition: Code Generation Training, Hardware Deployment with Simulink
From the series: Student Competition: Code Generation Training
Learn how to use Simulink® to target different embedded computing platforms.
Using Embedded Coder® and hardware support packages you can convert your Simulink model into highly optimized C and C++ code for a number of embedded targets. You will learn how to find hardware supported in Simulink and the functioning of a hardware support package.
We will take our course example and show you how to deploy the vision algorithm to a Raspberry Pi™ 3 Model B and the control algorithm to an Arduino® Uno. We will also introduce you to external mode and how you can use external mode to interact with the generated code running on the hardware without leaving the Simulink environment.
