Knowledge based Radar using MATLAB

From the series: Signal Processing and Wireless – Webinar Series

R Avinash, DRDO Young Scientist Lab

Overview

Knowledge-based radar has the capability of performing perception of the environment, learn from its surroundings using memory, and act and update the memory based on the feedback. This is analogous to the game problem that is handled using the Reinforcement Learning paradigm – Trial and Error to maximize the total return. This kind of strategy will certainly improve the detection capability in highly sensitive Electronic Counter Measure scenarios. MATLAB does come with several packages for creating scenarios and building optimization problems using Reinforcement Learning and Deep Learning methodology to provide faster algorithm development and test framework similar to actual environment situation.
