Simulink to Hardware

Simulink® and Embedded Coder® provide a complete environment to design algorithms, generate code from them for embedded hardware, and to execute and verify the code from within Simulink. Whether your interest is purely the algorithm, or the final implementation on hardware, some simple steps taken early in the design process will maximize flexibility and reusability.

In this session, Paul will take a prototype model in Simulink and demonstrate a step-by-step workflow to run this model in real-time on a microcontroller, including:

  • Running simulations on hardware using SIL, PIL and External Mode
  • Measuring and improving real-time performance
  • Automatically verifying generated code meets requirements
  • Architecting models and managing configurations for hardware

This session will be of interest to any Simulink user working on a project related to hardware, from algorithm designers to embedded software engineers.
