Description

The Communication interface parameter selects the transport layer that external mode uses to exchange data between the host computer and the target hardware.

Settings

TCP/IP (default) | XCP on TCP/IP

The Communication interface parameter selects TCP/IP or XCP on TCP/IP as the transport layer that external mode uses to exchange data between the host computer and the target hardware.

Examples

  1. In the Simulink® Editor, select Simulation > Model Configuration Parameters.

  2. In the Configuration Parameters dialog box, click Hardware Implementation.

  3. Set the Hardware board parameter to ARM Cortex-A9 (QEMU) and click Apply.

    The parameter values under Hardware board settings are automatically populated to their default values.

  4. From the External mode group, select a Communication interface from the drop down list and click Apply.

  5. Click OK to close the dialog box.
