Option to delay start of execution until start packet is received from host computer

Description

The Wait for a start packet from the host before execution parameter enables a delay of the start of execution until the hardware board receives a start packet from the host computer.

When enabled, delay the start of execution until the hardware board receives a start packet from the host computer.

  1. In the Simulink® Editor, select Simulation > Model Configuration Parameters.

  2. In the Configuration Parameters dialog box, click Hardware Implementation.

  3. Set the Hardware board parameter to TI Hercules RM57Lx Launchpad and click Apply.

    The parameter values under Hardware board settings are automatically populated to their default values.

  4. From the External mode group, enable the Wait for a start packet from the host before execution option and click Apply.

  5. Click OK to close the dialog box.
