RESTful web services, email, FTP, and data streams
Most import and export functions in MATLAB® support operations on remotely stored files, including those in Amazon S3™ and Windows Azure® Blob Storage. For details, see Work with Remote Data.
Additionally, you can access data through web services or FTP operations, and you can connect to ThingSpeak™ channels. If you install a streaming data framework using the Add-On Manager, you can read and write Kafka events.
