Measurement and Protection
R2026bPower quality measurement, RMS, THD, fault protection, watchdog monitoring, serial
communication
Measurement and Protection blocks validate control performance and guard the converter during operation. RMS, Total Harmonic Distortion, Total Power Factor, and Selected Frequency Amplitude blocks compute power quality metrics in simulation or on embedded hardware. The Power Measurement block computes active and apparent power from voltage and current signals. Use the Protection Relay block for overcurrent, overvoltage, and undervoltage fault handling, and Software Watchdog Timer to monitor system health. Serial Configuration, Serial Receive, and Serial Send blocks communicate with external instruments over serial interfaces.
