Description

The SCI Transmit block supports asynchronous serial digital communication between the TI mmWave radar sensor and other asynchronous peripherals. This block transmits scalar or vector data from the TI mmWave radar board through SCI A or SCI B hardware module.

data — Input data transmitted to the serial communication bus

Input data that the block transmits to the serial communication bus through SCI module A or SCI module B. The port accepts values as an N-by-1 or 1-by-N array.

Parameters

SCI module — SCI module for serial communication
`A` (default) | `B`

The SCI module that handles serial communication.

In the Device Manager on Windows, the SCI A module maps to the port displayed as Silicon Labs Dual CP2105 USB to UART Bridge: Enhanced COM Port or XDS110 Class Application/User UART. The SCI B module maps to the port displayed as Silicon Labs Dual CP2105 USB to UART Bridge: Standard COM Port or XDS110 Class Auxiliary Data Port.

The baud rate is set as part of Simulink Configuration Parameters (In the Configuration Parameters dialog box, go to Hardware Implementation > Target Hardware Resources > Serial properties, and specify the baud rate for SCI Module A or SCI Module B). The default baud rate is 921600.
