CAN ID command

R2026b

Specify the CAN identifier for XCP command messages from host to target

Since R2026b

Model Configuration Pane: Hardware Implementation / Hardware board settings / Target hardware resources / Groups / External mode

Description

Use the CAN ID command parameter to specify the CAN identifier that the host computer uses to send XCP command packets to Raspberry Pi® during external mode communication.

The target hardware listens on this CAN ID for incoming XCP commands from the host. Ensure that this CAN ID does not conflict with other CAN messages on the bus.

Dependencies

To enable this parameter, set Communication interface to XCP on CAN.
