What This Issue Means

The Simulation Pacing Options are not compatible with real-time simulation of a model.

When you start simulation of a Simulink Desktop Real-Time model by using the Run in Real-Time button from the Desktop Real-Time tab or by using the SLDRT.run function, the Simulation Pacing Options are disabled. The simulation runs in real-time.

When you start a simulation of a Simulink Desktop Real-Time model with Simulation Pacing Options enabled by using the Run button from the Modeling tab or by using the SimulationMode and SimulationCommand functions, Simulink reports an error about the incompatibility of Simulink Desktop Real-Time and simulation pacing and does not start the simulation.

Try This Workaround

Start real-time simulation of Simulink Desktop Real-Time models by using the Run in Real-Time button from the Desktop Real-Time tab or by using the SLDRT.run function.

Do not use Simulation Pacing Options when simulating these models.
