This example shows you how to model an 18-pulse diode rectifier to reduce the line current harmonics.

The 18-pulse diode rectifier comprises one 18-pulse phase-shifting transformer, three six-pulse diode rectifiers, and two interphase transformers. The phase-shifting transformer feeds voltages with a phase shift of 20 degrees from each other to the three diode rectifiers. To achieve a parallel configuration, the outputs of the diode rectifiers connect to the interphase transformers.
