I have used gabor filters on images, my problem is what postprocesing to do on output of gab filter, i want to compute some texture features on it so that i can eliminate false positives using classifier to the segmented result

is it direct segmentation with thresholding ( im2bw ) i may get false positives with that. I want to calulate GLCM on ouput of gabor so that i can classify the components using classifier

usually what postprocesing is done with gabor?
