I have created a mqtt device from thingspeak platform and obtained the MQTT Credentials (clientid, username and password).

I download the Iot extension to my microbit plaform to be used for my elecfreak iot:bit board and try to use its MQTT function.

However I failed to subscribe data from and publish data to the topics from thingspeak mqtt broker.

Have you enabled that device to be able to publish and subscribe to the channels you want data from in the ThingSpeak devices interface? Is the "when Topic:" Clause in the middle the subscribe setting? If so your syntax needs to have subscribe in it. See the subscribe doc for feed and field for the correct syntax.

Do you have a paid ThingSpeak account? If you are a free user, you can only publish to a channel once every 15 seconds.
