Can Simulink use symbolic constants (syms x, y, z) or only numerical values (x=1, y=2, z=3) are accepted ?

Dear all,
Is there a way to assign symbolic variables in Simulink blocks to identify how a constant will affect the overall loop/TF?
Using a simple example:
Lets say I want to identify how the variables a and b will affect the overall TF as I reduce it to a single block TF.
Is there a way/block in Simulink that would allow this?
Thank you in advance.
Seb

NO. Simulink will NOT use symbolic parameters. Sorry. Simulink is essentially a numerical solver. It does not perform symbolic computations.
