How can I doimage analysis with Raspberry Pi ?

Hello everybody,

In the context of a class work I am in charge of analysing images with a camera attached to a Raspberry Pi.

The main goal is to define either a given piece is white or black on a production line.

Then write the result in a file (White or Black + the time when it was produced).

Is there any tutorial on the internet that I could follow ?

I am completely unexperienced with mathlab as you guessed...
