How to add white space to the left and right of my plot?

I am plotting the Shapley values I calculated in one figure, however how do I add the whitespace to the left and right?
I have added the plot I created and an example of a plot, how I want it to be.

Use the axis function to set your axis limits, or use the xlim function to set the XLim property of your axes object.
