Modeling of a plug flow bioreactor with subsequent conditioning vessel

I have a question about the modeling of a plug flow bioreactor (concentration is f(x,t)) with a subsequent conditioning vessel (concentration f(t)). The outlet stream of the conditioning vessel serves as the inlet flow for the plug flow bioreactor (like a loop reactor).
To model the plug flow I used MOL.
Is there a way to couple both systems and solve this problem using just one ode15 solver?
