If you can't get this function to work, Gmsh mesh import, export and mesh generation in a convenient GUI is available with the FEATool toolbox.

You're error suggests the filename you're asking MATLAB to import the mesh from doesn't exist - sharing the code which imports this might be helpful.

Thank you all for the response. I have been able to sort it out. I saved the mesh file in the directory of the QuickerSimCFDToolbox which i couldn't do at first. It works now,
Here is the directory in case someone else need help with the same issue.
C:\Users\'name of your device'\ AppData\Roaming\MathWorks\MATLAB Add-ons\Appls\QuickerSimCFDToolbox\tutorial
I created a folder inside the tutorial folder where i copied the g mesh file to and it run perfectly.
Thank you all
