Error while starting simulink

While staring simulink i get the error below in the comand window.
Can anyone guide me as to what this is , why is it appearing and what should be done to rectify it ?
Error in comand window :

Invalid MEX-file 'C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2020b\toolbox\matlab\connector2\logger\+connector\+internal\log.mexw64':

Try reinstalling your MATLAB program.

C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2020b\toolbox\matlab\connector2\logger\+connector\+internal\log.mexw64
is probably corrupted.
It is possible, I guess, that instead there might be a .dll problem, but I am not sure if that could be a problem given that error message.
