how can I get Eigenfaces concept?

Please, your help is needed badly, I have a senior project at bachelor level, it is face recognition based on Eigenfaces. what will be the necessary steps to reach this goal? it will be uploading an image and letting the matlab find a match on database regardless of facial expression of the person.
