Screen alternating between "Login Successful" then "Authenticating" then back to "Signed in successfully" etc

Today when I try and login it continually alternates between "Signed in successfully" and "Authenticating". This is new after 4 years of use and no recent changes by me.

Then immediately goes to.....

Then back to "Signed in successfully"

Any help would be appreciated
