I am trying to solve this equation (attached). I have wrote this code but the issue is that i can't assign the intional value of x(0)= 16.

How can I solve this issue

my code :

x(0)= 16 %( how can I make this work????)
a=16;
N=500;
for k=1:N
     x(k)= (1/2.*((x(k-1))+(a./x(k-1))))
     
    disp(x(k))
end

Offset = 1;
x(0+Offset)= 16 %( how can I make this work????)
