Description
CoTherm is a Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) coupling, co-simulation, and process automation tool for thermal, fluids CFD, structures FEA, system tools 1D, and other engineering modeling and simulation tools. CoTherm is cross-platform software that supports many high-performance computing (HPC) systems and job scheduling software for simulating large models.CoTherm integrates with other CAE tools in three different ways:
- Natively supports many popular thermal and CFD codes
- Allows coupling of any software that can run in the command line or with config files
- Enables users to define custom behavior and integrate additional resources using Python journals
CoTherm includes optimization capabilities that determine which inputs used in your design are the best choice. Any CAE analysis can be optimized using the general optimization sub-processes. CoTherm's mathematically rigorous solution (including multiple global and local methods) removes guesswork and complexity from your design process.
CoTherm facilitates the flow of information between CAE programs, enabling efficient and versatile coupling of complex processes. Once your process is developed, you can quickly and easily share it between teams or departments. CoTherm can use MATLAB® or Simulink® simulation blocks for coupling or co-simulation.
