Description
SIMPACK is a general-purpose, nonlinear, 3D multibody simulation tool. It is designed to simulate mechanical systems, analyze vibrational behavior, calculate forces and accelerations, and describe and predict the motion of any complex multibody system. Users can easily build detailed models and import CAD and FEM data. Conceptual, verification, and optimization analysis may be conducted either in the time or frequency domain. SIMPACK is particularly suited for models, including elastic bodies and contact mechanics.
You can use SIMPACK and Simulink models in industry and academia, in areas such as general machinery, automotive, wheel-rail, and aerospace. SIMPACK models of the 3D mechanics can be exported to Simulink, where an S-function with the code of the SIMPACK model is created. Simulink models can be exported using Simulink Coder™ and then used within SIMPACK.
