VenetDCP
Distributed Co-simulation Platform
Highlights
- Coupling multiple simulators and models running in different locations
- Easy-to-use administrative interface for tool-coupling
- Distributed co-simulation while protecting model IP
- Remote execution of tools and parameter modification
- Automation of distributed co-simulation
Description
VenetDCP enables the coupling of many models and various simulation tools. This allows for collaborative MBD by multiple teams and companies in cyberspace.
By incorporating the data communication module “Bus Connector,” generated by VenetDCP, into a Simulink model, it can be connected to simulators at other locations to perform distributed co-simulation.
Using this distributed simulation approach, confidential models can remain protected, even while passing inputs and outputs to other models housed at different locations. The remote operation function allows a representative to perform all pre-approved distributed operations simultaneously.
By integrating simulation tools across companies, we promote collaborative development across various industries, from manufacturing to social infrastructure, energy, and more, providing a new approach to product and service development.
In addition to Simulink S-Functions, VenetDCP also supports the FMI (Functional Mock-up Interface) format and the associated Distributed Co-simulation API for model connectivity.
