MATLAB Compiler™ allows you to create map-reduce or Spark™ applications that can run in Azure^® HDInsight, a managed analytics service running on the Microsoft^® cloud platform. MATLAB Runtime must be installed on every node in the cluster, and MathWorks provides an automated script to streamline the process.
