After performing real-time tests and validating your algorithm, you can use it to detect whether there are any mechanical or electrical issues in your system. However, you can also use condition indicators to build an algorithm that not only diagnoses existing problems, but predicts future failures. This is called a prognostics model. This video walks you step by step through how to build a prognostics model.
