Downlink Control Information
Control channels carry cell-wide information and indicators to the user equipment (UE), such as downlink control information (DCI) messages. DCI messages support the scheduling of downlink shared channel (DL-SCH) transmissions. DCI messages are encoded and transmitted through the physical downlink control channel (PDCCH).
