PIL Simulation
R2026bA processor-in-the-loop (PIL) simulation cross-compiles generated source code on the host computer, downloads the executable to an Infineon AURIX™ hardware board, and runs the code on the target processor or an equivalent instruction set simulator. By comparing normal and PIL simulation results, you can test the numerical equivalence of your model and the generated code. During PIL simulation, you can also collect code coverage and execution-time metrics for the generated code.
