Description

The Stop bits parameter selects the number of Stop bits used to indicate end of a packet.

Settings

0.5, 1.5, 2

Select the number of Stop bits used to indicate end of a packet.

  • 0.5 — The stop bit is transferred for 50% of the normal time used to transfer 1 bit.

  • 1 — One stop bit is transmitted to indicate the end of a byte.

  • 1.5 — The stop bit is transferred for 150% of the normal time used to transfer 1 bit.

  • 2 — Two stop bits are transmitted to indicate the end of a byte.
