Syntax

deleteFailureModel(faultTreeDocument,label)

Description

deleteFailureModel(faultTreeDocument,label) deletes the failure model that has the name label in the fault tree document faultTreeDocument. You can only delete failure models that are not assigned to an event.

Create a fault tree document in the Safety Analysis Manager.

myTreeDoc = safetyAnalysisMgr.newDocument("fault-tree");

Add a constant failure model to the fault tree document.

myFailureModel = createFailureModel(myTreeDoc);

Delete the failure model.

deleteFailureModel(myTreeDoc,myFailureModel.Label)

Input Arguments

Fault tree document in the Safety Analysis Manager, specified as a FaultTreeDocument object.

Label of the failure model, specified as a string scalar or character vector.

Data Types: string | char

Tips

  • If a failure model is assigned to an event that is not shared, you can delete the failure model by reassigning the FailureModel property of the Event object to a different FailureModel object.
