Convert OPC UA data object array to double matrix

Syntax

vDouble = double(dObj)

Description

vDouble = double(dObj) converts the OPC UA data object array dObj into a matrix of data type double.

dObj must have the same time stamps for each of the nodes (elements of dObj), otherwise an error is generated. Use tsunion, tsintersect, or resample to generate an OPC UA data object containing the same time stamp for all nodes in the object.

Load the OPC UA example data file, convert the uaDataVis object to have the same time stamps, and create a matrix of type double from the result.

load opcSampleUaData;
dUnion = tsunion(uaDataVis);
vDouble = double(dUnion);

Input Arguments

OPC UA data, specified as an OPC UA data object array. For more information, see Data.

Output Arguments

OPC UA data values, returned as a matrix of double type. vDouble is constructed as an M-by-N matrix of double values, where M is the number of data values in dObj and N is the number of nodes in the array.
