    Description

    supportPackageInstaller opens the Add-On Explorer. Use the Add-On Explorer to install support packages. The support packages add support for specific third-party hardware or software to specific MathWorks® products.

    R2016b: Not recommended

    supportPackageInstaller is not recommended. To install support packages, go to the MATLAB® Home tab, and in the Environment section, select Add-Ons > Get Hardware Support Packages. To uninstall support packages, select Add-Ons > Manage Add-Ons.
