Zero-crossing control is globally disabled in Simulink

Option to issue warning or error if zero-crossing control is globally disabled during simulation

Model Configuration Pane: Simscape

Description

By default, Simulink® tracks simulation events by detecting zero crossings. For more information, see Managing Zero Crossings in Simscape Models.

You can globally disable zero-crossing detection in the Solver pane of the Configuration Parameters dialog box, under Zero-crossing options. If you do, and if you are using a global variable-step solver without a local solver, the system issues a warning or error when you simulate a model with Simscape™ blocks.

Settings

warning (default) | error

Specify whether the system issues a warning or error upon simulation when zero-crossing control is globally disabled.

warning

Makes the system issue a warning upon simulation if zero-crossing control is globally disabled.

error

Makes the system issue an error upon simulation if zero-crossing control is globally disabled.
