Serial as communication interface.

XIP on TCP/IP

XCP on Serial
XIP on TCP/IP - This option is available when any ArduPilot hardware board is selected, except for the ArduPilot Host Target. It enables communication over a serial connection using the XCP protocol, suitable for direct hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or external mode operations.
Simulink - This option is listed when the ArduPilot Host Target is selected. It allows communication over a TCP/IP network using the XCP protocol, which is ideal for simulation-in-the-loop (SITL) or when running ArduPilot as a software simulation on the host computer.
