Block the Save popup box generated from Excel

In Excel I can block the Save popup box generated from "exlWkbk.Close" by adding this code to Excel:
"Application.EnableEvents = False"
How can I add this Excel command to MatLab:
Execute "!!!insert code here!!!" = Application.EnableEvents = False
exl = actxserver('excel.application');
exlWkbk = exl.Workbooks;
exlFile = exlWkbk.Open(['C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\a Data\a Matlab\addm.xlsm']);
exlSheet1 = exlFile.Sheets.Item('Sheet1');
