How to plot a rose plot, not as a histogram, but as a kind of sectorial bar plot?

I have a vector sector=(0:30:360) which gives 12 sectors of 30 degrees each. I have another vector 'error' of the same size as 'sector', which contains error estimates for each 30 deg sector. I could easily plot this as a bar plot, but since I'm dealing with wind direction sectors, I would very much like to plot my data as a rose - so kind of like a 'sectorial' bar plot. Does anyone have a clue on how to do this? Answers are very much appreciated!
