Run Batch File from Matlab as if i run by double clicking it in windows

I want to run a batch file from matlab as if i double click on batch file. cmd.exe has to close after compilation of the batch file (since in most of the cases cmd.exe still open even batch file execution finished). If i double click on build.bat batch file in my system, it will execute the dos commands and at last displays message
MSG * SUCCESS/FAILED
and exits. But when i run the Batch File from matlab, cmd.exe is not closing automatically and msg is not considered as a command. So how can i run the Batch file from matlab, as if i double click the batch file in windows and it has to display the msg and close automatically after finished.
