when you run the error show:
??? Attempt to execute SCRIPT corner as a function: E:\corner.m
Error in ==> Untitled at 4 c = corner(x,'Harris');

It seems to run fine for me..I just executed your code with my image.
x= imread('spine.jpg');
x=rgb2gray(x);
c = corner(x,'Harris');
imshow(imadjust(x));
hold on
plot(c(:,1), c(:,2), 'g*');

Try this:
which corner -all
So you wrote a script called corner. Then you tried to use the function corner. Do you see the problem here? Don't do it. Rename your script to avoid the name conflict. It seems pretty clear.
