I want to be able to get the App Install Folder without checking from the 'Preferences' section.

Is there a matlab function (or any function at all) to get the Apps Install Folder from the matlab command line?

One way:

files = matlab.apputil.getInstalledAppInfo;
[path,~,~] = fileparts(files(1).location)
