NI problem creating ai channel

Why would I get the following error when trying to add an analog input channel?
"No appropriate method, property, or field ChassisName for class daq.ni.DeviceInfo."
Using Matlab 2013a NI cDAQ 9188 compactDAQ 8 slot Ethernet Chassis (static IP on University Network) NI 9234 ( 4-channel Piezoelectric accelerometer) module
The NI cDAQ 9188 uses the session based interface. The following code is used:
_s = daq.createSession('ni'); [ch, idx] = s.addAnalogInputChannel('cDAQ9188-16D666AMod1','ai1','Accelerometer'); _

This issue might have been caused by the compact DAQ Ethernet connected chassis (NI 9188) or compact DAQ device carrier being in an improperly configured state in the vendor software utility (NI MAX), which manages the connection of network connected devices.
Try "daq.getDevices" to find if there are any unsupported devices.If any unsupported network device is found then disconnect it .But, Before physically disconnecting a network device/chassis, make sure it's first unreserved in NI-MAX. If disconnected while still reserved, delete the chassis/device in NI-MAX.

Thank you so much for the answer. We could resolve the problem with Matlab's help by deleting the unsupported devices in NI-MAX.
