Displaying Scope Legends Through Subsystems

I have a Simulink block that acts as a centralised output data block, collecting all data from simulation and sending it to workspace and/or scopes. This block is part of a library however, therefore, instead of building in the scopes, I have ports that you connect to view data. This is also recommended by Mathworks (I think in Guy/Seth's blog).
Unfortunately, this means that, no matter what I do with the signals, the legend only says 'Output Data/4:1' or some variation of it. Is there some way I can display a legend when the scope gets its signal from within a subsystem block?
The pictures show what the problem is.
