Simulink Real-time Target screen stops responding but model is running

What would cause the Simulink RT Target screen to freeze up but the underlying model continues to run? There is no error on the screen.

Were you doing something prior to the "freeze"? Perhaps getting a capture of the target screen? Prior to getting a screenshot, the screen update is frozen. This should be resumed after the capture is done, but perhaps did not happen due to some error.

getparamid and get() to interact from the Matlab UI to the xPC. I think there may be a hardware issue with one of my boards inside the xPC system.
