How to install a new font on Linux

17 次查看(过去 30 天)
Sometimes Matlab does not have a specific font available on your computer. When it happens, it is because that font is not found on your Linux file system. The most commons path where you can find your installed fonts are:
/usr/local/share/fonts
To make the font available system-wide, or
~/.local/share/fonts
To make the font available only to the user
To check which fonts are available, run
fc-list
You can download and install a new font here (fell free to check other sites).
Once installed, reboot your machine and rerun the
fc-list
command to check if the font is installed correctly. Now Matlab should be able to use the new installed font on Linux

Alternatively, you can use fc-cache -f -v to regenerate your font list

This is a dummy question, I am marking it as the accepted one just to close it.
