How to take multiple snapshots from the camera via typing commands (Not via imaqtool), thus how to save them in an array?

I want to know how multiple snapshots can be taken via inputting a series of commands in the mat lab (provided that the camera is connected)and I would also like to know how these many snapshots can be saved in to an array?
What I mean by not using imaqtool is that, I don't want to use IMAQTOOl GUI version.

See the documentation for Webcams. I haven’t experimented much with these myself yet, although I downloaded and installed the Webcam Support Package.

Thanks Star Rider. This worked. (y). I believe the package had been already installed as I installed MATLAB and so I didn't have to install to try the codes. thanks again.
