Does MATLAB FlexLM license server support Virtual Machines?

Some FlexLM implementations do not permit running from a VM.What is MATLAB's position on that?

I believe the answer to that lies in your license file: In the MATLAB FEATURE / INCREMENT line, look for the VM_PLATFORMS= [PHYSICAL | VM_ONLY] parameter.
This parameter restricts feature usage to virtual machines (VM_ONLY) or to physical machines (PHYSICAL). If this keyword is not present, FlexEnabled applications can be run on both physical and virtual machines (default behavior).
I have personally installed the LM on a VM.
